Writer's Pseudonyms- Why Write Under An
Alias?
Lots of writers use pseudonyms. They do
so for many different reasons. A casual search of Amazon for any one
of your favorite writers may well reveal books that they have written
under different names. At first, yo may not realize that the books
that come up with your search are all written by the same author.
After a bit of searching around, you will make the connection.
Often enough, writers choose a
pseudonym when they want to branch out into a different genre. For
example, a writer who is known for authoring time travel mysteries
may choose a pseudonym when they branch out into writing spy novels.
